I am actually really inquisitive, but nowadays i often find myself scared to ask questions. I hate that about me. Most of the time I find myself staring at ambiguity right in the eye, but i do a Phelps and dive in anyway… leaving me confused and fcked up going out of it. I am trying to change that.

Why is a beautiful word. Remind me to use it more often. 

It’s My Burpday

This year I got to celebrate my birthday.. twice!

I turned 20 with that birthday cake. Awesooome!

Aside from this crazy concert my friends and I went to, I got accepted in the awesome training program under this big-time company that i was blogging about! I’m starting on December which means i only have a couple days of freedom. Being held captive has never felt this good. Hahaha feeling! My only goal now is to be the superstar that I am (whaaat) and that I earn their trust by delivering whatever it is that is expected of me (or maybe even exceed that). Pressure i know, but i think i can handle that. HEY HO LET’S GO!

I’ve read it for the first time (yes, i’ve read it a couple of times already) months ago and I still couldn’t get over it.

Reading Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist wheeled me in on a whirlwind realization about myself. With it being a romantic fiction and all, it made me remember stuff about certain people from the past, but at the most part, it made me remember who i was without them. Hexes for exes, anyone? Kidding.

Flipping through the pages made me feel like browsing over a diary, if i had one, that is.

This year i plan to invest my money (or what’s left of it, hehe) on concert tickets. I’m thinking of watching all the shows of foreign artists/bands on our shores, kahit na gen ad lang paminsan. I’d spend lang on the bands that i really like (LIKE INCUBUS AAHH). So my friends, if there’s a concert and no one wants to watch with you, just call me. Java will be there for you.

It felt really really good to be able to text my parents that i finally finally got in the dean’s list. This term was probably the most challenging ever - physically, mentally, and emotionally (HAHA) and praise God talaga that i was able to pass everything, to say the least. One term left!! And i’m making it the best term ever.

Haay. I’m really grateful for everything that’s been happening lately. Thank YOU.

Roof party

I marvel at the stars and feel my heart overflow

I was probably in sixth grade when i last climbed up to our roof. It's not exactly what you can call easy access, but hey we were a bunch of bored kids. Last night, we went through all the hassle just to relive the old times. Well, not really. JD texted my brother about the meteor shower announcement on tv and we just had to check it out. So at around 10:30pm of December 14 2007 there were nine people on our roof, all giddy and excited (and in pajamas), staring anxiously at the starry starry sky. All of us screamed whenever we caught glimpse of a falling star (there were a lot btw!). It was beautiful, surreal almost. We had so much fun woohoo yeehoo. December just keeps on getting better, dontcha think?

And now..HUSKY VOICE AND STIFF NECK. but somehow it's okay. Hehe.

Ten Days

Great job!

Two sleepless nights resulted to the sweetest two words i've heard this week. I was scared as hell when Sir Gutierrez told gatz and me to sit near him during his panelling duties for another group, but when he opened to us our folder i almost screamed for relief. 3.5. He told us that we had the best idea so far. "Almost made it," he said smiling. Hey, that's fine with me! Praise God!

To celebrate, gatz thea and i went to Trinoma to watch a movie. We ended up devouring sweet sweet meat (etc etc) in Conty's. Mango Bravo, i love you.

Mom + me

Today i went to the mall with my mom. We were supposed to buy “mom stuff”, like mops (hi mom haha) and such but we ended up buying a lot of other useless little girly things. She bought like 10+ sets of hankies (which i dont really get btw) etcetera, and i got myself (with her money of course) a couple of clothes. Even though it was such a huge waste of time for a girl who’s supposed to be studying for her finance exam on thursday, it turned out to be a great way to waste time. I got to spend time with my mom, just the two of us, and that’s always nice. It’s been years since we last did that.

After today i discovered that our family’s got this absurd fondness for tea. We had soo much today that i think my dentist’s going to give up on me in my next visit.

Isang araw sa Hidalgo

Da best ang Quiapo.

Noong wednesday nagpasama ako kay toto (na tambay sa Quiapo) sa Hidalgo St para bumili ng mga gamit para sa camera ko. Naka kuha ako ng waterproof bag at lens filter (para sa 18-55mm) na mas mura pa sa isang dinner at movie sa greenbelt. Kaya kung okay lang sayong mapawisan ng konte (ng pawis ng ibang tao) at masigawan pag masyadong mabagal kang maglakad.. Mag Quiapo ka na!

Bagong Cellphone

Meron akong bagong cellphone.

Matagal ko nang sinasabi sa sarili ko na kailangan ko ng bagong cellphone. Gusto ko yung pinaka bagong modelo, yung tipong andun na lahat. Yung masisiyahan ako sa bawat sandaling gamit ko siya, kasi wala na kong hahanapin pang iba. Basta ngayon, dapat yung sulit na talaga.
